A Man and His Cape

February 22, 2015

Spoiler Alert: This post has nothing to do with food and everything to do with lust.

My youngest daughter, Leah, suggested I make my blog posts more “edgy” in order to achieve world domination in “blog land.” Apparently, sex sells. Who knew?

I considered blogging about the booty craze, but since there’re only so many things you can say about Kim Kardashian’s ass, or anyone’s ass, for that matter, I decided to focus on something that’s actually crazy, sexy, hot—the cape—for men.

I’m not taking about some metro-sexual, silky, Dracula cape with a high fussy collar, I’m talking about rocking a cape “Jon Snow” style—wooly…and mammoth.

When a man wears a manly, leathery, wooly cape he becomes irresistable to women.  He becomes a slayer, a seducer, a mac-truck amongst men.

With the fifth season of Game of Thrones on the horizon, we’re all going to need more than a few cold showers to deal with the bastard son of the late Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell, Jon Snow, and rightfully so—his cape is impressive.

A steward in the Night’s Watch, Jon can rock a skirt or a cape and still leave us breathless. He makes us want to be a wilding—willing to do the wild thing.

When a man dons a cape his lips becomes pouty, his hair tousled and his eyes— coal to light your fire.

Jon and the Wilding we will become

Jon and the Wilding girl we will become

White Walker

White Walker (in need of a few fillers)

Under the spell of the cape, women are willing to risk their lives fighting white-walkers in sub-Artic conditions in  the hope that Jon, or any cape-clad man, will take them under his wing…I mean his cape.

The revival of this fashion trend, will make Fifty Shades of Grey  a thing of the past (thank God) because when a man wears a cape, women are putty in his hands.

And Ladies, this one’s for you…

Gentleman—visit your local “capery” today. It may be the best purchase you’ll ever make.
